On prevention of myopia progression for students in physical education classes

The article is devoted to the analysis of frequency of such a deviation in the state of health among students as myopia, which develops more often in young people with a large visual load and poor physical development.

Formation of active knowledge on the application of innovation in student sports

Nowadays, innovative technological solutions are rarely used in student sports. The potential of such solutions is in the optimization of various conditions of athletes, ranging from recovery to performance at competitions. The article discusses the construction of a system of educational activity of students from understanding their knowledge about innovation for sports to creating individual methods of influencing the body and brain using technological solutions.

The influence of the soft-fitness physical and health complex on the physical development of students of a special medical group

Purpose of the article is to identify changes in the indicators of physical development of students classified by health status to the special medical group under the influence of physical education and fitness complex with the elements of soft fitness.

Цель статьи заключается в выявлении изменений показателей физического развития студентов, отнесенных по состоянию здоровья к специальной медицинской группе (СМГ) под влиянием физкультурно-оздоровительного комплекса с элементами софт-фитнеса. Для решения поставленных задач использовались следующие методы исследования: анализ современной научно-методической литературы; метод педагогических наблюдений; педагогический эксперимент с использованием комплекса с элементами софт-фитнеса; тестирование физического развития; статистическая обработка материала.

A study of the effects of physical education and sport on attention span and interhemispheric asymmetry in 19–20 year-old students

The article deals with the influence of systematic physical training and sport on the concentration of attention and interhemispheric asymmetry in the students of the higher education educational institution aged 19–20 years. The review of the literature corresponding to the research issue is given. The Amatuni test was used for the practical physiological study. On the basis of the study the author has made conclusions about the impact of physical education and sports on the mental activity of students.

The influence of evening walks on the emotional state of students

The problem of creating harmony in relation to the mental and physical health of students at present is quite serious. Modern medical universities are characterized by an intellectual overload in conditions of insufficient physical activity, which necessitates increasing the stress resistance of the students’ organism. The means of physical activity used to reduce stress vary for different groups of people.

Individual training of a student-boxer as a way to achieve the highest sports results

The article discusses individual training of students-boxers at the training base of the Russian higher educational institution. The article substantiates the position that individual training of boxers is one of the ways to achieve the highest sports results. The author notes special role of the educational organization in creating conditions necessary for the growth and development of the student’s personality, including his or her sports improvement. In the course of the study, a pedagogical experiment is conducted in a sports improvement group.

Biomechanical characteristics of walking in representatives of women’s soccer at the age of 18 to 25 years

The peculiarities of biomechanical parameters of walking of two groups of women were studied in a comparative analysis. The first group consisted of female soccer players of 18–25 years old, having the first sports category or the category of Candidate Master of Sports; the second group included people engaged in cyclic sports (skating, cross-country skiing). At the first stage we took measurements of the test subjects, which were then entered into a computer program.

Functional reserves of students related to a special medical group for health reasons

The relevance of this work is determined by the high prevalence of physical inactivity among students assigned to a special medical group for health reasons. The purpose of the study is to analyze the impact of physical education in a special medical group on the functional reserves of students’ body. A group of 20 first-year students was observed. Girls were engaged in physical culture during one school year. The examination at the beginning and end of the observation period included anthropometry, physiometry and functional testing.
