Efficiency of digital technology implementation in physical education classes in higher educational institutions

The paper presents the results of a study aimed at evaluating effectiveness of using digital technologies in physical education classes at universities. The experiment was conducted at the Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics and involved 240 students divided into control and experimental groups. The digital model incorporated online platforms, mobile applications, and fitness trackers to monitor physical activity, heart rate, class motor density, and students‘ motivation level.

Development of sports interests among girls engaged in volleyball during physical education classes in general education schools

The relevance of the research is determined by the need to foster a sustained interest in physical education among schoolchildren, especially among girls engaged in volleyball. Development of sports interests at school age is an important condition for forming a healthy lifestyle and personal growth of students. The purpose of the research is to study pedagogical conditions that contribute to the development of sports interests among girls in the process of physical education in general education schools.

Prospects for implementing innovative technologies in physical training of medical students using an individual method

This article is devoted to the study of the application of innovative sports and health technologies, in particular, the analysis of video recordings using artificial intelligence, in the context of an individual method of physical education in a competitive form.

Experience in developing solutions for phygital projects

The article presents experience of developing phygital projects by student teams from the Saratov Regional Basic Medical College as a part of their participation in competitions of the international Olympiad “IT-Planet”. In these projects, capabilities of modern information technologies are aimed at supporting and developing human physical activity. The developed solutions can be used in health and rehabilitation practices, for maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and for physical education and sports.

The key barriers limiting development of sports technologies are considered, and ways to overcome them are proposed.

Development of self-organization of students in the process of physical education

In this experimental research paper, the analysis of an urgent problem of the development of moral and volitional qualities in students and self-organization in the process of physical education is carried out. The essence and structure of self-organization in physical education classes are revealed and its place in classification of moral and volitional qualities is determined. The study also substantiates educational possibilities of physical education for the development of moral and volitional qualities of university students.

The analysis of the quality of adolescents’ life in modern pedagogical practice in the context of their physical fitness level

Quality of life assessment is a valuable modern method for diagnosing deviations in various types of individual functioning. The aim of the study is to assess the quality of adolescents’ life taking into account their level of physical fitness. The quality of life was analyzed among adolescents aged 15–17 in a comprehensive school (n = 139), a separate analysis was conducted among schoolchildren systematically engaged in physical activity, including sports sections (n = 61).

Basic provisions that ensure effectiveness of adaptive physical education classes with students with health disorders

Adaptive physical education is becoming increasingly popular in modern society, especially with people with disabilities. Properly organized classes help them improve their physical condition, increase self-esteem and overall wellbeing. Therefore, it is important to study what basic principles contribute to the effectiveness of adaptive physical education classes.

Development of strength abilities in university students

Effectiveness of the influence of plyometric exercises on the strength abilities of female students involved in physical education at the university has been shown. The types of strength abilities and factors influencing their development are presented.
