Abstract:

This article is devoted to the study of the application of innovative sports and health technologies, in particular, the analysis of video recordings using artificial intelligence, in the context of an individual method of physical education in a competitive form. The results of an experiment are considered, in which students recorded their workouts, including exercises such as bending and extending their arms while lying down and squatting, and sent the recordings for analysis to a neural network-based bot that automatically counted the number of repetitions. The results demonstrating a significant improvement in students’ physical performance after a two-week course of classes are presented. The article also highlights the relevance of using such technologies in the field of physical education, the examples of successful implementation of video analysis and artificial intelligence in an individual process, as well as prospects for further dissemination and development of these technologies are given.
