Development of key competencies (soft skills) in students within the framework of socio-professional mobility
The paper substantiates the relevance of developing soft skills of students majoring in teacher training and sports disciplines as a foundation for their socio-professional mobility. The author presents the results of an empirical study assessing the level of communication and organizational abilities of students at the Siberian State University of Physical Education and Sports. Based on the data analysis, it is concluded that systematic development of soft skills within university extracurricular activities is necessary. The study proposes areas of student personal development work (student self-government, volunteering, project-based and creative activities) that contribute to the formation of leadership qualities, communication skills, and organizational abilities, thereby ensuring high competitiveness and graduates’ readiness for professional activity under conditions of uncertainty.
