Kinetic postural stability trainer project

Posturology is the study of human body balance. Stabilometry platforms are used to assess balance function in medicine and for training in physical education and sports. Stabilotraining, combining physical activity and computer technology, is well-suited for the concept of the phygital movement. In educational institutions, stabilotraining can be used in both physical education classes and phygital tournaments. This article describes the implementation of a student project of creating a stability trainer.

Phygital sports at a technical university: An innovative approach to the development of future communications engineers’ professional competencies

The modern digitalization of society requires a revision of the physical education system at the technical universities, where traditional methods do not develop professional competencies in demand of digital economy, such as strategic thinking, reaction speed, and skills in operating technical systems. This article examines phygital sports – an innovative approach combining physical activity and digital technologies (VR, AR, drones, robots).

Development of motor abilities of female students in a higher educational institution

Effectiveness of performing special physical exercises in water is shown. The study presents substantive characteristics and outlines scientific and theoretical aspects of the influence of aquadynamic exercises on the motor abilities of those involved. The aim of the study was to determine the effectiveness of the influence of aquadynamic classes on the development of motor abilities of female students studying in an educational institution of higher education, by conducting test exercises.

Nordic walking as a physical education discipline for students of special medical groups

This paper analyzes the implementation of Nordic walking in the physical education curriculum for students of a special medical group at Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University. The study presents a comparative assessment of students’ functional status before and after training, focusing on heart rate indicators, vital lung capacity, anxiety levels, and movement coordination.

Developing flexibility of female students of technological university

This paper discusses the importance of such a physical quality as flexibility in classes of the academic discipline “Physical Education” within the educational process in higher educational institutions.

Physical education classes for students with type I diabetes mellitus

Type I diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that requires constant monitoring of blood glucose levels and daily insulin administration. In recent years, there has been an increase in the number of cases, especially among young people and students. The period of study at university is associated with high mental load, stress and decreased physical activity, which can complicate the compensation of the disease.

The impact of a crossfit training system on the functional capabilities of university students engaged in elective courses in physical education and sports

The paper presents the results of a study aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of implementing high-intensity functional training (CrossFit) within elective physical education courses in higher education institutions. The experiment was conducted at MTUCI and involved 80 students divided into control and experimental groups.
