Specifics of gradations in the performance levels of female athletes taking into account training periods in softball

During the training process, female athletes undergo functional and morphological reorganizations, which manifest themselves in increased performance. The main structure of training consists of methods, means, volume, power, physical load and permissible saturation. Based on reliable data, it can be argued that the stability of athletic performance during the competitive period is to some extent proportional to the duration of the preparatory training period.

Development and justification of adapted standards for cross-country testing in a gym based on experimental data and mathematical modeling

The paper is devoted to the topical problem of conducting control tests for cross-country training in a gym, which is due to the climatic characteristics of various regions of Russia. Specific features of indoor running are analyzed, including geometric limitations of the trajectory, the need for frequent turns, psychological aspects and biomechanical changes in the structure of the running step. The paper substantiates the need to adapt existing standards of cross-country training for gym conditions.

The impact of a crossfit training system on the functional capabilities of university students engaged in elective courses in physical education and sports

The paper presents the results of a study aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of implementing high-intensity functional training (CrossFit) within elective physical education courses in higher education institutions. The experiment was conducted at MTUCI and involved 80 students divided into control and experimental groups.

Dosing students’ physical activity: A model of individualization based on psychophysical criteria

The study presents a practice-oriented model of physical activity dosing for mass physical education practice, designed to individualize the training process of students. The relevance of the research is determined by the necessity to take into account the level of physical fitness of students in conditions of limited pedagogical resources. The purpose of the work is to theoretically substantiate and structure the model based on three criteria: heart rate, subjective assessment of Borg scale fatigue, and baseline level of physical fitness.

Efficiency of digital technology implementation in physical education classes in higher educational institutions

The paper presents the results of a study aimed at evaluating effectiveness of using digital technologies in physical education classes at universities. The experiment was conducted at the Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics and involved 240 students divided into control and experimental groups. The digital model incorporated online platforms, mobile applications, and fitness trackers to monitor physical activity, heart rate, class motor density, and students‘ motivation level.

Analysis of the types of assessment of professional activity of a physical education teacher in higher education

The article presents the main types of assessment of the professional activity of a physical education teacher, i.e. rating, criterion-oriented, expert, effective contract. Basic advantages and significant disadvantages of these types of higher education teacher assessment are identified. The author’s vision of the subject of assessment is formulated: key performance indicators of a physical education teacher within the framework of their educational, methodological, sports work, as well as personal professional achievements.

Structural and functional interrelations of psychological characteristics of students depending on the type of sports activity

The article studies the influence of sport games on the development of team skills and cognitive functions in students of technical university. The relevance of the study is determined by the need to identify the psychological and social effects of various types of sports activities in the conditions of an educational institution.

Use of digital technologies as a way to motivate sports activity of technical university students

The article briefly describes how digital technologies are penetrating the field of physical education and student sports, and how they affect various aspects of athletic achievements and training methods. The author emphasizes that in order to work successfully in the technical field, a specialist must have a certain level of health and psychophysical readiness, since people working in the technical field often face harmful working conditions in industrial enterprises, where they have to perform both mental and physical work.

A study of competitive balance in student sports
