Abstract:

This article investigates an interdisciplinary approach to integrating archery into the system of elective courses in physical education at higher educational institutions of Russia. The relevance of the study is driven by the establishment of the Student Archery Sports League Association in Russia in 2023, along with the need to find new forms of physical activity for students subject to intense workloads, chronic physical inactivity, and high levels of emotional stress during their studies. The research focuses on modernizing the training process by implementing hardware and software systems. The paper examines the application of high-speed video analysis of shot kinematics, inertial telemetry systems, and automated data processing. An observation of an experimental group of students aged 18–20 was carried out and then followed by the systematization of the results obtained. The study demonstrated that using objective electronic monitoring of the experimental group’s results not only accelerates the formation of a complex motor skill through instant feedback but also provides a pronounced corrective effect on the musculoskeletal system and the psycho-emotional state of the students. This work represents the initial stage in exploring the possibilities of teaching archery to students.
