Abstract:

Currently, there is a decrease in the health index of the population, and of university students in particular. This fact negatively affects the living conditions and life duration. The latter, in turn, leads to a negative trend in the demographic indicators of the country and of the migrants. In addition, the territory of Kuzbass is characterized by a high level of man-made pollution of the environment, which has a detrimental effect on the health index of the resident population (native and immigrant population). In this regard, it is necessary to monitor the indicators of the health index and physical fitness of foreign students at universities. The best indicator for evaluating the physical fitness of foreign students is the Readyfor-Labor-and-Defense test as it helps to evaluate all the physical qualities, physical development and physical health of foreign students. Along with this, it is possible to correct the negative impact of the environment and to change the diet of foreign students. To maintain and strengthen their health, it is necessary to increase physical activity and health culture of foreign students.
