Use of digital technologies as a way to motivate sports activity of technical university students

Autors:
Vanina Olesya S., Bauman Moscow State Technical University (National Research University)
Abstract:

The article briefly describes how digital technologies are penetrating the field of physical education and student sports, and how they affect various aspects of athletic achievements and training methods. The author emphasizes that in order to work successfully in the technical field, a specialist must have a certain level of health and psychophysical readiness, since people working in the technical field often face harmful working conditions in industrial enterprises, where they have to perform both mental and physical work. The article presents the results of testing the speed and strength training of student runners specializing in 400 and 800 m distances using sports equipment based on digital technologies. A study conducted at the Bauman Moscow State Technical University Sports Club shows that the use of digital technologies during the training process can significantly improve the results of 400 and 800 m runners, optimize training processes and increase students’ motivation for sports activities.
