Training a university futsal team (case study of Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University named after V. P. Astafiev)
The relevance of the study is determined by the need to improve the training of student futsal teams under conditions of avaliable training time, highly variable competitive loads, and the heterogeneity in the initial fitness levels of players. The study aims to experimentally substantiate the effectiveness of stage-based training of a student futsal team using the example of Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University named after V. P. Astafiev. The research hypothesis posits that the implementation of a formative program including the targeted development of speed-coordination, speedstrength, functional, technical, and game-related components would ensure positive dynamics in the indicators of the players’ preparedness level compared with the initial values. The study involved 15 students who were members of the university team. The pedagogical experiment was organized in three stages: baseline, formative, concluding. The formative intervention was implemented within an 8-month training macrocycle including introductory, general preparatory, special preparatory, pre-competitive, competitive, and competitive-transition periods. Changes were assessed using control tests and analysis of in-game actions. Improvement was recorded across all five criteria: the 3×10 m shuttle run, standing long jump, interval recovery test, the technical test “slalom dribbling,” as well as the integral game performance index. The most pronounced positive dynamics were identified in the indicators of special endurance and the game performance index. It is concluded that the stage-based organization of training and the integrated combination of special preparatory and gamebased means constitute an effective approach to improving the preparedness level of a student futsal team.
