Analysis of the types of assessment of professional activity of a physical education teacher in higher education
The article presents the main types of assessment of the professional activity of a physical education teacher, i.e. rating, criterion-oriented, expert, effective contract. Basic advantages and significant disadvantages of these types of higher education teacher assessment are identified. The author’s vision of the subject of assessment is formulated: key performance indicators of a physical education teacher within the framework of their educational, methodological, sports work, as well as personal professional achievements. In conclusion, recommendations are given that allow heads of the departments of physical education of an educational organization of higher education to optimize the development of the process of evaluating activities of a physical education teacher.
