The problem of sustained motivation among kickboxing students

The relevance of the study stems from the growing popularity of kickboxing among young people, which is combined with a high academic workload, creating risks of reduced engagement in the sport. The aim of the study is to identify the key challenges of sustained motivation among kickboxing students and to develop recommendations for enhancing it.

Kickboxing as a means of improving university students’ academic performance

The purpose of this study is to examine, compare, and interpret findings related to the beneficial effects of sport, kickboxing in particular, on students’ academic performance in higher education and extracurricular activities. The study compared two groups of male and female students aged from 18 to 25. Such parameters as subjective feelings of fatigue, joy, as well as semester grades and achievements in extracurricular activities were taken into account. The results revealed a correlation between students’ grade point average and regular training.
