The article is devoted to the history of the emergence and development of student sports at Donetsk National Technical University. The work is based on archival materials of the sports club of Donetsk National Technical University and reflects the events of 1921–2023.

The article reveals the history of the development of eSports in Russia. Its integration into the student environment, the main measures aimed at the development of computer sports are considered. The authors highlight the reasons and prospects for reducing regional differences in cyber sports. The conclusion about the possibility of popularization of eSports through cooperation with students, as well as the development of specialties from related fields is made.

The article deals with the history of the development of physical culture of student youth of the Krasnoyars region. In particular, the results of the implementation of the GTO standards at different stages of the complex’s existence during the 1930s–1950s are analyzed. The main chronological dates of changes in the programs of physical education of students are given. Archival sources are represented by the materials of the State Archive of the Krasnoyarsk region, which are being introduced into scientific circulation for the first time.

The article touches upon the issues of physical education in higher education within the framework of inclusive education. Its purpose is to describe the options for such organizational and substantive forms. Methods of generalization and systematization of practical experience, logical modeling are used. An algorithm for formation of an inclusive culture among medical students through volunteer activities with children with disabilities is given.

On the basis of a retrospective analysis, the description of formation stages of physical education of students of higher educational institutions is given. It is shown that the system of physical education of students of higher educational institutions began to form in the nineteenth century. It is pointed out that initially its content was of a militaryphysical orientation. The period of centralized regulation of physical education in higher educational institutions has been established.

Alexander Petrovich Petrov made a huge contribution to the development of wrestling and the Olympic movement, he became the first Russian to win an Olympic medal. In 1908 A. P. Petrov became a silver medalist at the IV Olympic Games (London) in French wrestling competitions. A. P. Petrov was at the origin of the creation of the concept of domestic physical education of students.

The article substantiates the relevance of the problem of the development of social initiative of the individual in the modern realities of Russian society; it is proved that students are characterized by the highest social activity, and an educational organization, representing various types of educational and extracurricular activities (innovative, research, social, sports, creative, etc.), has the potential to develop flexible Soft Skills: communicative, organizational and leadership.

The purpose of the review article is to provide the methodological component of pedagogical and psychological disciplines, including physical education, with a specific model of activity, as well as the opportunity to implement a new educational technology as a separate discipline of advanced training courses or retraining programs.

The relevance of the study is related to the problem of the use of doping to improve athletic performance in sports and the issues of combating doping in the focus of modern public attention. The aim of the work was to study the awareness of athletes and the staff working with them in matters of doping and doping violations, as well as to identify the shortcomings of anti-doping educational work among various categories and groups of the population.
