Methodological recommendations for the creation of scientific and methodological centers for the development of phygital sports (functional digital sports) based on higher education institutions

This article presents a review of methodological recommendations for organizing scientific and methodological centers for the development of phygital sports (functional digital sports) within higher education institutions. It examines key stages of establishing such centers, including the principles of integrating phygital approaches into educational and research activities, as well as mechanisms for interaction with structural divisions and organizations.

Phygital sports at a technical university: An innovative approach to the development of future communications engineers’ professional competencies

The modern digitalization of society requires a revision of the physical education system at the technical universities, where traditional methods do not develop professional competencies in demand of digital economy, such as strategic thinking, reaction speed, and skills in operating technical systems. This article examines phygital sports – an innovative approach combining physical activity and digital technologies (VR, AR, drones, robots).

Analysis of the current state of the phygital movement in the Russian Federation and prospects for its development until 2030

The article presents the data of the analysis of the literary sources on the development of phygital movement in Russia in general and phygital sports in particular. Its essence is revealed and the factors that make phygital sport an effective tool for the development and popularization of the sports movement, primarily among young people, are highlighted. The positive experience of holding the largest international competitions in phygital sports “Games of the Future” is noted.

Trends and potential for the development of technological sports in student environment

The development of modern technologies leads to transformation of all the spheres of society, including sports. One of the key trends of recent years is emergence and fast spread of high-tech (innovative) sports, where digital technologies are embedded directly into the process of competition, such as phygital (combined functional and digital) sport, drone (unmanned aircraft) racing, sports programming and others. These sports are now bringing together people of different ages and interests.
