Breathing practices in sports: Potential for performance improvement, recovery, and psycho-emotional well-being of students

This article addresses the issue of insufficient attention to breathing practices in modern sports training of students. Despite the growing number of studies confirming the positive effects of targeted breathing techniques on the physiological and psychological performance of athletes, their usage remains limited. The main reasons for this situation, focusing on the lack of awareness among coaches and athletes themselves about the possibilities and benefits of conscious breath control are analyzed.
