Analysis of the participation of Russian student teams at the World Summer and Winter University Games in 2013–2021

Abstract: 

The article analyzes performance of the Russian national team at the World Summer and Winter University Games from 2013 to 2021. A brief historic overview of the participation of the USSR national team at the Universiades is outlined. The enumeration of sports, the number and list of participants representing the Russian Federation at the World University Games are given. Dynamics of the awards won, as well as the percentage of athletes with titles and grades at the 2019 Universiades are shown. On the basis of the material under study, relevant conclusions are made.
