On the provision of student sports with sports infrastructure facilities

The analysis of normative and legal base of provision with objects of sports infrastructure of educational organizations of higher education is conducted. The results of monitoring the provision of educational organizations of higher education with sports infrastructure facilities for 2022–2023 are presented.

Representation of physical education and student sports in university research studies

Analysis of topics of scientific research works conducted in educational institutions of higher education and dissertation research on the issues of physical education of students and student sports was carried out. Systematization of research topics for 2014–2022 was done. It has been established that the vast majority of studies are devoted to physical education. The most common areas are the development of training programs for professionally applied physical training and using means of various sports and physical activity.

Trends and potential for the development of technological sports in student environment

The development of modern technologies leads to transformation of all the spheres of society, including sports. One of the key trends of recent years is emergence and fast spread of high-tech (innovative) sports, where digital technologies are embedded directly into the process of competition, such as phygital (combined functional and digital) sport, drone (unmanned aircraft) racing, sports programming and others. These sports are now bringing together people of different ages and interests.

Analytical review of the sociological study “Student Sports: Opportunities and Prospects”

The article presents results of a sociological study “Student sports: opportunities and prospects”, which was conducted by the Center for Sociological Research “14–35” in 2022. Total number of respondents was 7,647 respondents. The sample was divided into 3 categories, where respondents were offered to answer questions on various aspects of the student sports development.

В статье приведены результаты социологического исследования «Студенческий спорт: возможности и перспективы», которое было проведено Центром социологических исследований «14-35» в 2022 году. В рамках проведенного исследования общее количество респондентов составило 7 647. Выборка разделена на 3 категории, где респондентам предложено было ответить на вопросы по различным аспектам развития студенческого спорта.

Features of teaching sambo wrestling in universities

The article deals with the issues of teaching sambo wrestling at the non-sporting educational organizations of higher education in view of the specifics of teaching physical culture in these institutions, which consist in a lower number of hours for teaching this sports discipline compared to sports schools, as well as in the fact that it is not a major subject for a non-sporting university.

On the issue of the research development in student sports area: A review of papers for the period from 2000 to 2022

In accordance with the Concept of Student Sport Development in the Russian Federation until 2025, one of the priority directions is the improvement of scientific and methodological support of the subjects of the student sports system. In the context of scientific and methodological support of student sport it is significant not only to intensify research in this area, but also to match the direction of the research with the key tasks of student sport development.

Strategy for the development of adaptive student sports of NRU “MEI”

The article highlights the innovative way of development of adaptive student sports at the NRU “MEI” in general, and motor rehabilitation of students of a special medical group, in particular. The proposed strategy is a unique realisable project being implemented, integrally combining a technological scientifically grounded approach to the problem under study, and the practical effective implementation of a multi-component motor rehabilitation model operating in its basic basis with an instrumental component of student sports.
