Open youth competition for the creation of technological innovations in the field of physical education and sports “Phygital Sporttech Innovations Cup” 2025 (Kaliningrad, Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University, April 11–12, 2025)

As a part of the III All-Russian scientific and practical conference “Phygital movement: innovations, technologies and digital transformation in physical education and sports work of universities”, the final of the Open youth competition for the implementation of technological innovations in the field of physical education and sports “Phygital Sporttech Innovations Cup” was held.

Sports technologies: Implementation in the practice of higher education institutions

The article examines modern trends in the field of sports technologies, their implementation in practice of innovative sports, such as phygital sports, computer sports, drone racing, laser combat and sports programming, their regulatory framework. The key barriers limiting development of sports technologies are considered, and ways to overcome them are proposed.
