The role of educational institutions in training eSports managers: The experience of Siberian Federal University

In modern conditions, eSports have transformed into a large industry requiring professional management. Particular attention is drawn to the preparation of qualified eSport managers capable of organizing tournaments, being involved in marketing activities, and managing teams. Krasnoyarsk region stands out among leading territories in Russia in terms of developing computer sports competitions, becoming a platform for launching innovative educational initiatives and practices.

Peculiarities of education and training methods for young athletes in modern realities: Gadgets, nutrition, and motivation in freestyle wrestling and grappling (based on materials from the Salus club, Karaganda)

The study aims to describe and evaluate coaching and upbringing practices for youth freestyle wrestling and grappling in terms of rapid digitalization, changing dietary patterns, and increased competitive load. A combined program (technical-tactical work, general physical preparedness, psychological support, brief parental education) was implemented at the “Salus” Club (Karaganda) in 2023–2024 for athletes aged 9–16 (N = 60).

Phygital sports at a technical university: An innovative approach to the development of future communications engineers’ professional competencies

The modern digitalization of society requires a revision of the physical education system at the technical universities, where traditional methods do not develop professional competencies in demand of digital economy, such as strategic thinking, reaction speed, and skills in operating technical systems. This article examines phygital sports – an innovative approach combining physical activity and digital technologies (VR, AR, drones, robots).

Sports technologies: Implementation in the practice of higher education institutions

The article examines modern trends in the field of sports technologies, their implementation in practice of innovative sports, such as phygital sports, computer sports, drone racing, laser combat and sports programming, their regulatory framework. The key barriers limiting development of sports technologies are considered, and ways to overcome them are proposed.

The effectiveness of digital education: From goals to results

The article talks about digitalization, to which all spheres of human activity, including education, are subordinated nowadays, therefore it is advisable to produce specialists with competencies corresponding to modern realities. In this regard, the possibilities of digitalization of physical education are considered on the example of the Higher School of Physical Culture and Sports of the I. Kant BFU.

The impact of digitalization on physical culture and professional physical training of athletes in Russia

The purpose of this scientific article is to study the influence of digitalization processes on physical culture. The relevance of this work lies in the fact that modern trends in digitalization penetrate into all spheres of society, including the process of professional physical training of athletes and students of sports educational institutions.
