Relevance of the study is justified by the specifics of training senior students in the field 44.03.01 “Pedagogical Education” with a specialization in “Physical Culture”, which is related in our research to the amount of contact work and the features of professional training, as well as students’ personal experience. It has been proven that studying the characteristics of professional competence formation in students will enable the development of professional competence, as well as further optimization of the process of its formation.
